Do I need to wear a face mask?

If you do not have any cold and flu symptoms, face masks are no longer required when attending the practice.

However, if you do have symptoms (cough, fever or sore throat). We do request that you wear a face mask.

What type of appointments are there?

We are currently offering telehealth phone, video and face to face consultations. Appointments can be made via HotDoc at any time or by telephoning reception during office hours.

Are you taking new patients?

We welcome new patients to our practice, however please note that some of the Doctors lists are full and are not taking new patients.

New patients can book online or over the phone to see Dr Rassi, Dr Beik, Dr Woodhead or Dr Liu.

What do I do if I have a serious emergency?

If you have a serious emergency that requires urgent attention please do not delay and call an ambulance directly by phoning 000

If you do not think an ambulance is needed please call reception and let them know that you are concerned about an urgent matter , if a doctor is not able to speak to you reception may ask that one of nurses take your call if they are available. Please do not use email or HotDoc for anything urgent as these are not monitored for urgency.

Can I see any of your GPs?

If you can’t get into see your regular doctor, there is no need to stress. Our GPs securely share patient notes and information in order to provide the most informed care every time you come in!

Do you allow walk in appointments?

We are a private billing practice running by appointment. We do not offer a walk-in and wait consultation service. Appointments for our regular patients can be made via our website, HotDOc or by phoning reception. Some appointments are reserved each day for patients requiring unplanned care.

Do I need to book for a pathology service?

Our practice as an onsite pathology service is available without an appointment Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm

Can I make an appointment for Saturday?

Saturday morning appointments can be made between 9 and 11 am for that doctor on duty that morning.

 

How does billing work?

We are a private billing practice and the possession of a medicare card will entitle you to a rebate of a proportion of the fee. Our friendly staff can process the rebate on the spot.

We accept cash, cheques, EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercards. Unfortunately we do not accept Diners or American Express.

The fee charged is determined by the length and complexity of the consultation, combined with additional services eg. vaccines, procedures and dressings.
